Drilling for Geothermal Heat Loop Installations

Vertical and Horizontal Closed Loop Systems Installed
Vertical ground closed loop systems are installed when you don't want to take up a lot of space in your yard. With these systems, we install the heat loops hundreds of feet down into the earth, grout off the hole, and then fuse the heat loops to the buried pipes that lead into your house.
We also install horizontal ground closed loop systems, but these take up considerably more surface space. As a rule of thumb, for every ton of geothermal capacity you require, you'll need approximately 300 to 600 feet of surface area.
